Deuces Wild Bonus!

About

Deuces Wild Bonus! (a.k.a. Deuces Wild Hold'em Fold'em) is a fun game that was requested by a Riverboat Gambler Player. It is a variant of Deuces Wild that contains an additional optional blind wager on a 5-Card hand that gets dealt to the Dealer.

In this game, the Player is playing against a Pay Table and trying to make a qualifying hand. The Dealer's hand that gets dealt is solely for the purposes of the optional bonus wager that may be made. What makes it very interesting is that, as the name implies, deuces are completely wild. This means that they can change value as well as suit.

Like Double Draw Poker, this game uses structured betting. The Player must first place an initial Ante wager for which he will receive three cards. After viewing the three cards, the Player must decide to Fold and forfeit the initial wager or to place a Play wager that is equal to the initial Ante in order to receive a fourth card.

After the fourth card is dealt, the Player will again decide to Fold and forfeit all existing wagers or place a Raise wager that is double the amount of the intial Ante and receive the fifth and final card to form a five card poker hand.

Should the Player Fold at any time, the Dealer's hand will be completed and the optional Dealer Hand bonus will be paid if the Dealer's cards form a qualifying hand.

How To Play

Playing the Game

To begin the game, the Player must place an Ante wager from $5 - $500. To place this wager, simply tap the Ante space on the board. Each tap will increase the wager by the default amount that has been defined in Preferences up to the maximum wager amount. To clear an existing wager, press and hold the wager until it disappears.

After the Player has placed his Ante & optional Dealer Hand wagers and pressed the Deal button, three cards will be dealt to the Dealer and the Player. The Player must then decide to forfeit the hand and the Ante wager or continue playing towards a full five card hand. To continue, the Player will tap the Play wager spot and wager an amount equal to the initial Ante. Once this is done, the Dealer and Player will each be dealt a fourth card.

As before, after the Player receives the fourth card, he will need to decide to Fold the hand and forfeit the Ante and Play wagers that have already been made, or to place a final Raise wager and receive the last card in his hand. To continue the hand, the Player will tap the Raise wager spot to place a wager that is double the amount of the initial Ante.

Ending the Hand

Once the Raise wager has been placed, both the Dealer and Player will receive their final cards and the hands will be read. If the Player hand qualifies as indicated on the Payout Table, the Player will be paid the corresponding odds for the Ante, Play, and Raise wagers that were made during the round. The only exception to this rule is in the case of a Pair of Aces for which the Play and Raise wagers are pushed.

If the optional bonus wager was made, the Player will be paid if the Dealer's hand qualifies. Qualifying hands and payouts can be found in these instructions and by tapping the logo on the gameboard.

Quick Replay

After a hand completes, if the Player presses the Deal button, a new round will start and the Ante & Bonus wagers from the preceding hand will be made. If the Player does not want to repeat the last wager, play will resume after the Player has adjusted his wagers and pressed the Deal button.
