4 Card Poker

How To Play

Placing Wagers

Four Card Poker supports two different wagers: an Ante bet and an Aces Up Bonus bet. Tapping on these spots will increase the wagered amount by the default amount ($5, $10, $25, $50, $100) that is defined in Preferences for the Ante and Bonus. A maximum of $500 is allowed for the Ante.

The Aces Up Bonus is optional and can be placed for any amount between $5 and $100. Like the Pair Plus wager in 3 Card Poker, the Player may play this wager alone without an Ante.

When the maximum for a spot has been reached, tapping on the spot an additional time will reset the wager to zero. Additionally, these wagers can be reset by pressing the spot and holding briefly.

Playing the Game

Once an Ante or Aces Up Bonus has been placed, the Deal button will become enabled. Pressing this button starts the hand.

In Four Card Poker, the Dealer receives six cards and the Player receives five cards. One of the Dealer's cards is exposed so that the Player can see it. The object of the game is to make the best four card hand from the cards that are received and to make a four card poker hand that is better than is the Dealer's hand.

After cards have been dealt, the Player must decided whether to continue to play or to Fold the hand.

If the Player folds the hand, the Ante wager is forfeit, but the Aces Up Bonus wager will still be paid if the Player has a qualifying hand. Given that a pair of Aces or higher is required to win the Aces Up Bonus, it is unlikely that a Player would fold and still be qualified for this bonus.

Knowing what one of the Dealer's cards is, if the Player feels that his hand is strong enough to win the round, he must wager either 1x, 2x, or 3x the amount of the initial Ante. These wagers are made by pressing the "Raise" button on the board. If the wager is 1x or 2x the Ante, the hand will end when the Player presses the Deal button. If the wager is 3x, the hand will end as soon as the wager is made. When the round ends, the Dealer's cards are exposed, and a winner is declared.

NOTE: If the Aces Up wager was played without an Ante, the round ends as soon as the hand is dealt. The Player will then be paid if a qualified hand is made.

Quick Replay

After a hand completes, if the Player presses the Deal button, a new hand will be dealt and the same Ante and Aces Up wagers from the preceding hand will be made.

If the Player does not want to repeat the last set of wagers, play will resume after the Player has adjusted the ante and bonus wagers and pressed the Deal button
