Keno

About

If you want to gamble without risking too much, Keno is the right game for you. It is easy to learn and play, with no strategy or reasoning involved. If your numbers are selected, you win -- simple as that! With elements of bingo, lotto, and roulette, this game can be quite addicting.

Keno was first introduced in China many years ago. The game was brought to the United States in the mid 1800's by the Chinese immigrants who came to work in the mines and on the railroad. It is a very popular game and very easy to play. It is an exciting pastime and, most importantly, it offers the possibility of winning large payouts on relatively small wagers.

To play Keno, you select a minimum of 2 but no more than 10 numbers between 1 and 80. Each selection is called a 'Spot'. So, if you select 10 numbers you are playing a 10 Spot game.

Twenty numbered Keno balls will be drawn at random from a barrel containing 80 numbered balls and, if enough of your selected numbers are drawn, you are a winner.

The amount of money you win is dependent upon the amount that you wagered, the number of spots you selected, and the number of matches you make to the selected spots.

How To Play

Starting the Game

To start the game, the Player must place a wager from $1 to $20. This is done by tapping the Bet button. Each tap will increase the wager by $1. Once the maximum of $20 has been reached, the wager will reset to nothing. To clear an existing wager, simply press and hold the Bet button for a moment.

In addition to a wager, the Player must select the spots she would like to bet on. Spots are selected (and unselected) by tapping on them. Unselected spots are shown in grey on the board; selected spots are shown in blue. The Player must choose between a minimum of 2 spots and a maximum of 10 spots. Much like Lotto, winning payouts are based on the number of player spots that are matched by the balls that are drawn.

Drawing Numbers

After the required wager and spot selections have been made, the Play button will become enabled. Pressing the Play button will start the game. The Keno engine will randomly select 20 balls that match the spots on the board. Balls that match spots that were selected by the Player will appear on the board in green. Spots that are drawn that do not match a Player selection will show in red.

Once all 20 spots have been drawn, the round ends. If the Player wins, she will receive a notification of how many of their spots were matched and the amount of the appropriate payout will be added to their existing bankroll.

Quick Replay

After a round completes, the Player may play another round using the same wager and selected spots by simply pressing the Play button. If the Player wants to change the wager or wants to change spot selections, she need only make the desired changes and press Play.
