Texas Hold'em Bonus

About

Texas Hold'em is the hottest poker game around. Some of the most excitement in a Texas Hold'em game occurs when the game has been narrowed down to two Players who are playing "Heads Up" to determine the final winner.

In Texas Hold'em BONUS, the Player is ALWAYS playing Heads Up against the Dealer.

After placing an Ante & optional Bonus wager, the Player and the Dealer are each dealt two cards. Five Community cards are also dealt. Both the Player and the Dealer will share the Community cards to create their best possible five-card poker hand.

A structured betting approach is used in this game. Wagering is allowed after the intial cards have been dealt, after the first three cards ("The Flop") have been exposed, after the fourth card ("The Turn") has been exposed, and after the last Community card ("The River") has been exposed. Once all wagering is completed, the winner is determined based on the best five card poker hand that can be made from the "hole cards" and the Community Cards.

If the Player opts to Fold the hand they will forfeit their initial Ante. If the Player placed the optional Bonus wager, they can still win if their two initial hole cards cards match one of the payouts in the Payout Table that can be found in these instructions and by tapping the logo on the game board.

How To Play

Starting the Game

The game begins by placing an Ante wager. This wager may be from $5 to $500 and is paid if the Player wins the hand with a Straight or higher. After an Ante wager has been made, the Player may also make a separate wager for the optional Bonus play. This wager pays based on the Player's two hole cards. The Player is not required to beat the Dealer to win this wager and will be paid according to the schedule defined in the Payouts Table that can be found in these instructions and by tapping the logo on the game board. Payouts range from 3 to 1 to 1000 to 1! The maximum amount of the Bonus wager is $100.

Wagering

Tapping on the Ante or Bonus spots will increase the wager by the default amount ($5, $10, $25, $50, $100) that is defined in Preferences. Before cards are dealt, these wagers can be withdrawn by pressing and holding the spot for a brief moment. If the maximum amount for a wager is exceeded, the wager will be cleared.

Dealing Cards

The Deal button becomes enabled once an Ante wager has been placed. Pressing the Deal button starts the game by dealing two cards to the Player, two cards to the Dealer, and five Community Cards. The Player and the Dealer will share the Community Cards to create their individual five card poker hands.

Playing the Hand

During the hand, there are three opportunities for the Player to wager: before "The Flop" (the first three Community cards), before "The Turn" (the fourth Community card), and before "The River" (the final Community card). In Texas Hold'em Bonus, the only wager that is required is the Flop bet. The remaining two wagers are optional and the Player may Check as opposed to bet and will still remain in the hand.

After the initial cards have been dealt, the Player must decide whether to stay in the hand to see The Flop or to Fold the hand. If the Player folds, the hand ends and the Ante wager is forfeited. In the case of a Fold, the Player will still be paid for the optional Bonus wager if it was placed and if his two hole cards meet the criteria defined in the Payout Table.

If the Player decides to stay in the hand, he must place the Flop wager. This bet is automatically twice the amount of the initial Ante. To place the wager, simply tap the Flop button. When this is done, the wager will be placed and the first three Community cards will be exposed. At this point, the Player can see five of the seven cards from which he will make a poker hand.

The remaining two rounds (The Turn and The River) are similar to the first round except that they are optional bets and each will expose only a single card. If the Player feels strongly about the potential of his hand to win based on those cards that he can see, the corresponding wager is placed by tapping the appropriate spot on the board. This will place a wager that is equal to the original Ante and then expose the appropriate card. If the Player prefers to see the next card without an additional investment, he may press the "Check" button to expose the card and advance to the next round of play.

Ending the Hand

If the Player completes the hand without folding, his best five-card poker hand will be compared to the Dealer's best five-card poker hand to determine a winner. If the Player wins the hand, he is paid even money for the Flop, Turn, and River wagers that were made. Even money will be paid for the Ante, but only when the Player wins with a hand that is a Straight or higher.

Winning the Bonus

Regardless of whether the Player wins the hand, a Bonus wager that was made will be paid if the Player's hole cards qualify based on the Payout Table.

Quick Replay

The hand ends after all cards have been revealed.

After a hand completes, if the Player presses the Deal button, a new hand will be dealt and the same Ante and Bonus wager amounts from the preceding hand will be made.

If the Player does not want to repeat the last set of wagers, play will resume after the Player has adjusted the wagers and pressed the Deal button.
