This game is a light weight version of Mississippi Stud. In this game, the Player starts with 3 cards and there is a single round of betting before the 2 Community Cards are revealed to complete the hand.
This game combines two popular poker games into one: Stud Poker & 3 Card Poker. The games are played separately and require separate wagers. The Ante is for the Big Raise Stud Poker game. The optional bonus wager is for the 3 Card Poker game.
The 3 Card Poker game can only be played if an Ante has been placed for the main game. Antes are allowed from $5 to $500. The optional bonus wager may be from $5 to $100. They do not have to be the same amount.
The Player's three cards are used as the 3 Card Poker hand. Folding from the Big Raise Stud hand does not affect the Player's standing for the 3 Card Poker game.
The basic premise of the game is that, for an Ante, a Player receives three cards. The Player will use these three cards and the two community cards to form a qualifying five card poker hand.
After the Player has seen his cards, he decides to Fold or to Play.
In the event the Player decides to continue the hand, he must place a wager of 1-4 times the amount of the original Ante. Once this wager has been placed and the Deal button is pressed, the two Community Cards will be revealed and the game ends. Poker hands below a pair of sixes are losing hands. All other hands are paid (or pushed) according to the Payout Table.
The 3 Card Poker hand is made using the Player's original 3 cards and requires no action from the Player. Payouts are made for any pair or above. If there is not a payable hand in the Player's first three cards, the Player's bonus wager is forfeited.
There are three places on the table that accept wagers. Tapping on the Ante or the 3 Card Bonus spots will increase the wagered amount by the default amount ($5, $10, $25, $50, $100) that is defined in Preferences. A maximum of $500 is allowed for the Ante. The 3 Card Bonus wager cannot exceed $100. Before the cards are dealt, these spots can be cleared by pressing them and holding for a brief moment.
The remaining Raise wager cannot exceed 4x the amount of the ante. Tapping this spot will increase the wager by the amount of the original Ante. Tapping a fifth time will clear that wager. This spot can also be cleared by pressing it and holding for a brief moment.
In all cases, when the maximum for a spot has been reached, tapping on the spot an additional time will reset the wager to zero.
Cards are dealt by pressing the Deal button. This button becomes enabled when the Player has placed the wagers that are required for a stage of the game.
The five cards (3 Player cards and 2 Community Cards) can be dealt after an Ante and optional 3 Card Poker Bonus wager have been placed. Both Community Cards will be revealed at the same time when the game ends as a result of the Player placing a Raise wager or Folding the hand.
If an optional 3 Card Poker bonus wager was placed, the Player will be paid if a qualifying 3 Card Poker hand is made with his initial three cards regardless of whether he wins the hand.
After a hand completes, if the Player presses the Deal button, a new hand will be dealt and the same Ante and Bonus wagers from the preceding hand will be made.
If the Player does not want to repeat the last set of wagers, play will resume after the Player has adjusted the ante and bonus wagers and pressed the Deal button.
