There are four places on the table that accept wagers. Tapping on these spots will increase the wagered amount by the default amounts ($5, $10, $25, $50, $100) that are defined in Preferences. A maximum of $500 is allowed for each of the Ante & Super Bonus wagers. These two wagers must be the same amount. The optional "Queens Up" bonus wager may not exceed $100.
Should the Player decide to play the cards that he is dealt (rather than fold), the "Play" wager may not exceed 3 times the original Ante. The actual maximum allowed is determined by the poker hand made by the Player. For a Pair of Aces or higher, the Player may wager 1x, 2x, or 3x the initial Ante. All other hands are capped at 1x the original Ante amount.
Before the cards are dealt, the Ante/Super Bonus and Queens Up spots can be cleared by pressing them and holding for a brief moment. Once cards have been dealt, these intial wagers cannot be changed.
Once the Player has placed the required Ante and Super Bonus and any optional Queens Up wagers, the "Deal" button will become enabled. Pressing the Deal button starts the game.
In Crazy Four Poker, both the Player and the Dealer each receive five cards. The object of the game is to make the best four card poker hand.
The following hands (from highest to lowest) can be made with four cards:
When the Player receives his cards, he must make a decision to remain in the hand and try to beat the Dealer's hand or to Fold the hand. If the Player folds the hand, all wagers (including any optional Queens Up wager) are forfeited and the round ends.
Should the Player decide to stay in the hand, he must create his four card hand, place a wager, and press the "Play" button.
The four card hand is made by discarding one of the Player's five cards. A card is discarded by tapping on it. Once a card has been marked for discard, the Player will be allowed to place a wager on the "Play" wager spot. The maximum amount of this wager is governed by the rank of the Player's hand. If the Player can make a hand that is a Pair of Aces or higher, he may wager up to three times the amount of the initial Ante. All other hands are limited to 1 times the original Ante.
Once the Play wager has been made, the Play button will become enabled. Pressing this button will end the hand and the Player's hand will be called and compared to the Dealer's hand. If the Player wins, he will be paid according to the Payout Table that is available in these instructions and by tapping the logo on the gameboard. In this game, the payouts are also influenced by whether or not the Dealer makes a "Qualifying Hand".
In order for the Dealer to "Qualify", she must have at least a King-High hand. If the Dealer does not qualify, the Player's Ante is refunded and the Player's "Play" wager is paid even money. The Super Bonus and optional Queens Up bonus will be paid if the Player hand qualifies for those payouts.
After the hand has ended, if the Player presses the Deal button, the same Ante, Super Bonus, and Queens Up wagers will be placed and new cards will be dealt.
If the Player does not want to repeat the last set of wagers, play will resume after new wagers have been made and the Deal button has been pressed.
