To start the game, the Player must place an Ante wager and an equal Blind wager. These wagers are made by tapping either the Ante or Blind spaces on the game board. Each tap will increase the wager by the default amount ($5, $10, $25, $50, $100) that has been specified in Preferences. The maximum amount for the Ante & Blind wagers is $500.
After Ante and Blind wagers have been made, the player may also make a separate wager for the optional Flush Bonus. This wager will be paid if the Player has at least four cards in a flush. The Player is not required to beat the Dealer to win the bonus wager and will be paid according to the schedule defined in the Payouts Table. The maximum amount of the bonus wager is $100.
For all wagers, once the maximum, allowable amount has been reached, an additional tap will reset the wager amount to zero. A wager can also be reset by pressing a spot and holding for a brief moment.
Three Card Blitz is played with a standard 52 card deck. The Deal button becomes enabled once Ante and Blind wagers have been placed. Pressing the Deal button starts the game by dealing seven cards to both the Player and the Dealer.
After the cards have been dealt, the Player must decide to stay in the hand and compete against the Dealer for the best hand or to Fold. If the Player folds the hand, the Ante and Blind wagers are forfeited. However, if the Player placed a wager on the Flush Bonus, the Player will be paid for any qualifying hand.
The object of the game is to select up to three cards of a single suit that, when added together, total more points than do the cards that the Dealer will select from her seven cards. Card values are shown below:
Based on the card values, the limit of three cards, and the fact that all cards must be of the same suit, the highest total that can be achieved is 31 points. This is known as a "Blitz".
Should 31 points be obtained using the Queen, King, and Ace of a suit, that hand is referred to as a "Royal Blitz".
If the Player has 31 points in two different suits, the hand is referred to as a "Double Blitz"!
Special bonuses up to 50:1 are paid for the Player's Blind Wager if the Player wins the hand with one of these hands or a total of 27 or more points.
If the Player opts to remain in the hand and compete against the Dealer for the hand, he must select up to 3 cards. Cards are selected by tapping on them. Tapping a previously selected card will unselect that card. Once at least one card is selected, the "Play" button will become enabled.
To end the hand and determine a winner, the Player must place an additional wager equal to the original Ante. This wager is placed by tapping the Play button.
When the Play button is pressed, the hand will end and a winner will be declared. If the Player has more points than has the Dealer, he wins. If the Dealer has more points, she wins. If the hands are tied, the hand is considered a Push.
If a wager was placed for the Flush Bonus, the Player will be paid if there is a qualifying hand. To qualify for the Flush Bonus prize, the Player must have a flush that contains four or more cards. The cards in the qualifying flush DO NOT have to be used as the Player's hand.
Payout amounts are shown in the Payout Table that is available in these instructions and by tapping the game logo on the board.
The hand ends after all cards have been revealed.
After a hand completes, if the Player presses the Deal button, a new hand will be dealt and the same Ante, Blind, and Bonus wager amounts from the preceding hand will be made.
If the Player does not want to repeat the last set of wagers, play will resume after the Player has adjusted the wagers and pressed the Deal button.
