3 Card Poker

About

3 Card Poker with the 6 Card Bonus is actually three games in one.

In 3 Card Poker, the Player is competing against the Dealer to form the best hand. Both are dealt three cards with which to make a hand. The three cards can be used to make hands that consist of Pairs, Three of a Kind, Straights, Flushes, and Straight Flushes.

In order to play the full game, the Dealer must qualify. To qualify, the Dealer must have at least a Queen High hand.

If the Dealer fails to qualify, the Player's Play wager is refunded and the Player's Ante wager is paid even money (1:1). If the Dealer does qualify and the Player wins, depending on the Player's hand, a bonus may be paid on the Ante. The amount of the bonus is documented in the Payout Table.

NOTE: As in most three card poker games, a Straight beats a Flush.

Another aspect of this game is the "Pair Plus" wager. This optional wager pays based on the Player's three cards regardless of whether that hand beats the Dealer's hand. If the Player makes a qualifying hand, the Pair Plus wager will be paid based on the odds defined in the Payout Table. The Pair Plus wager does not need to be the same amount as the Ante wager. Additionally, this wager may be made without placing a wager for the Three Card Poker game.

The 6 Card Bonus is the third variant in this game. Also an optional bonus, this wager pays based on the best five card hand that can be made from the combined six cards of the Dealer and the Player. In order to play the 6 Card Bonus game, the Player must also wager for the 3 Card Poker game, the Pair Plus game, or both. This wager cannot be made as a solo bet. The Player's hand does not have to beat the Dealer in order to get paid. Payouts are made for qualifying hands as shown in the Payout Table.

How To Play

Placing Wagers

To start the game, the Player must place initial wagers. Wagers can be made for the Ante, the Pair Plus, or both. To place a wager, simply tap the appropriate space. Each tap will increase the wager by the default amount ($5, $10, $25, $50, $100) that has been specified in Preferences. The maximum amount for the Ante wager is $500; the maximum amount for the Pair Plus wager is $100.

After one or both of the wagers for the Ante and Pair Plus have been made, the Player may also place a wager for the 6 Card Bonus. The maximum amount for this wager is $100. Each tap will increase the wager by $5.

For all wagers, once the maximum, allowable amount has been reached, an additional tap will reset the wager amount to zero. A wager can also be reset by pressing a spot and holding for a brief moment.

Dealing Cards

The Deal button becomes enabled once a wager has been placed for either the Ante or the Pair Plus. Pressing the Deal button starts the game. Both the Player and the Dealer will receive three cards. If an Ante wager was placed, the Player must decide whether to try to beat the Dealer or to fold the hand. If the Player believes their hand can beat the Dealer, they must place an additional wager that is equal to the initial Ante amount. This is done by pressing the Play spot.

Ending the Game

The hand ends after the cards have been dealt and the Player presses either the Play or the Fold button.

If the Dealer does not make a qualifying hand of at least Queen high, the Player's Play wager is refunded and the Player is paid even money (1:1) for the initial Ante.

If, however, the Dealer does qualify, the two hands are compared and the higher hand is declared the winner. A winning Player hand is paid based on the odds that are found in these instructions and by tapping on the game logo on the board.

If the Player only wagered the Pair Plus bet, the hand will end as soon as the cards are dealt. The Player will be paid accordingly for any qualifying Pair Plus hand that is made.

Winning the Bonuses

If the Player folds the hand, but has played the Pair Plus, the 6 Card Bonus, or both, they will be paid for those wagers if they make a qualifying hand as declared in the Payout Table.

If the Player did not wager an Ante, their hand will be read for the Pair Plus and 6 Card Bonus wagers that were made as soon as the last card has been dealt.

Quick Replay

After a hand completes, if the Player presses the Deal button, a new hand will be dealt and the same Ante, Pair Plus, and 6 Card Bonus wager amounts from the preceding hand will be made.

If the Player does not want to repeat the last set of wagers, play will resume after the Player has adjusted the wagers and pressed the Deal button.

Note: This game was designed to support "Player Slow Roll". Look for this setting under "Preferences" When it is on, the Player cards will be dealt face down and the Player must tap on cards to reveal them. The game will not continue to the next stage until all cards have been revealed.
