Just about the time you think you have found all of your favorite games, another one comes along that knocks your socks off. I had never heard of this game until an RBG Player requested that I look into adding it to Riverboat Gambler.
There was not a lot of information available but, with Eric's help, I was able to piece it together. Now, I am a bit addicted to this game!
3-5-7 is really three different games in one. In all three games, the Player is only playing against a Pay Table; not against the Dealer.
The first round of the game is 3 Card Poker. If the Player makes a qualifying 3 Card Poker hand, she gets paid the corresponding odds for that hand.
The second round of the game is playing a standard 5 Card poker hand that consists of the Player's first three cards and two additional Community cards that get exposed. As before, if the Player makes a qualifying hand, she gets paid.
The third round of the game is optional and consists of the Player making another 5 card poker hand but, this time, from seven cards. If the Player makes Two Pairs of 10s or better from seven cards, she wins!
To begin the game, the Player must place two required wagers: the 3 Card Hand wager and the 5 Card Hand wager. The 7 Card Hand wager is optional. As described, later, the Player has the option to surrender the 7 Card Hand wager after she receives her first three cards. If the Player surrenders the 7 Card Hand wager, she is refunded one-half of the wager; the House keeps the other half.
All wagers may be any value from $5 to $500.
After the desired wagers have been placed, pressing the Deal button starts the game. The Player is dealt three cards and there are four Community cards that are dealt face down. Differently from other games in Riverboat Gambler, the Player is paid as each of the hands is made and read.
After the first three cards are dealt, the Player will be paid if there is a qualifying 3 Card Poker hand. Hands and payouts can be found in these instructions and by tapping the logo on the gameboard.
After the 3 Card hand has been resolved, if the Player placed a 7 Card Hand wager, she has a decision to make. She can surrender the 7 Card Hand wager and have 50% of her wager refunded, or she can leave the wager in play. To surrender, press the "Surrender" button. To leave the wager in play, press the "Play" button. Conventional "strategy" seems to be to never surrender, but you did not hear that from me!
After either Surrender or Play have been pressed, the first two Community cards are exposed. These two cards are combined with the Player's initial three cards to make the 5 Card poker hand. If the 5 Card hand qualifies against the Pay Table, the Player gets paid the corresponding odds for the 5 Card Hand wager.
If the Player has a 7 Card Hand wager in play, pressing the Play button will expose the final two Community cards. At this point, all four community cards are combined with the Player's initial three cards and the Player's best 5 cards poker hand is determined from the seven cards on the board. As in the previous two rounds, the Player is paid if she makes a qualifying hand against the Pay Table.
NOTE: If the Player does not place a 7 Card Hand wager or if the Player surrenders that wager, the final two Community Cards will automatically be exposed and the game will end after the 5 Card hand has been resolved.
After a hand completes, if the Player presses the Deal button, a new round will start and the wagers from the preceding hand will be made.
If the Player does not want to repeat the last wagers, play will resume after the Player has adjusted the wagers and pressed the Deal button.
