Triple Shot was requested by Eric, from our Player Community. I had never heard of it before. Triple Shot actually allows the Player to play up to three different games, serially, with the same cards. In this game, the Player has the option to play a limited game of War against the Dealer, a Blackjack hand against the Dealer, and to create his best five card hand from a total of six cards (6 Card Poker). It is up to the Player whether he wants to play one, two, or all three of these games.
Because each game is independent, it is up to the Player to wager between $5 - $500 for the games he wants to Play. The game is played with a single 52-card deck and the dealt cards are shared across the games. This mean that if War is played, this initial, single card becomes the first card in the Player's Blackjack or 6 Card Poker hand if those games are also wagered. If the Blackjack game is played, any cards that are dealt during that game will form the basis for the 6 Card Poker game.
Once the Player has decided which of the games will be played by placing the appropriate wagers and pressing the Deal button, the fun begins.
If the Player opted to play War against the Dealer by placing the War wager, both the Player and Dealer will receive a single card. Unlike "Casino War" (also available in Riverboat Gambler), there is no round to wager a War. Instead, in this variant, the highest card wins.
In most casinos, in the case of a tie, the Player forfeits 50% of his wager to the House. In Riverboat Gambler, ties are a Push.
Blackjack is played like Classic Blackjack in that both the Player and the Dealer start with two cards and then play for the best hand that is worth 21 points or less. However, in Triple Shot, because the cards that are dealt are cumulative, both the Player and the Dealer already have the first of their two cards and will only be dealt one additional card.
Key points about this variant of Blackjack are:
If the Player opts to play 6 Card Poker by placing that wager, he will be dealt the number of cards required to given him a total of six cards after what was already dealt to support the two preceding game options.
In this game, the Player is not competing against the Dealer. Instead, he is playing against a Pay Table that requires a minimum hand of a Pair of Queens to be paid.
After a hand completes, if the Player presses the Deal button, a new hand will be dealt and the same War, Blackjack, and 6 Card Poker wager amounts from the preceding hand will be made.
If the Player does not want to repeat the last set of wagers, play will resume after the Player has adjusted the wagers and pressed the Deal button.
